If you like tomato-based sauces, such as ketchup or various pasta sauces, you might want to try making your own from fresh tomatoes instead of buying them from the supermarket. Homemade Tomato-based sauces made from fresh tomatoes are more filling and have fewer calories than highly processed, sugar-filled tomato sauces sold in grocery stores.


One of the biggest problems with the American diet is that the food is extremely bland and contains very few spices compared to the cuisines of the rest of the world. Herbs, spices, and sauces not only make your food tastier and more satisfying but also can have many health and fat-burning benefits. Some populations of the leanest people in the world is found in countries where the local native cuisine has the highest spice content.
